ETYG Camping Trip 2006

This weekend was the 5th annual ETYG (Edmonton Temple Youth Group) Camping Trip. We went to Willy West Campground just outside of Drayton Valley. There were 21 of us in total and we had a blast at the firpit, swimming, playing soccer, playing volleyball, eating and much more. Here are some of the pictures from the weekend:

Gallitown Update

It's been an awesome day. First, and most importantly, Logan Jeffery Michael Perry was born at 3:50 p.m. weighing in at 7 pounds and 13 ounces. Mom (Bethany) and baby are healthy. Keith and Jonah are a proud father and brother. We went to the hospital tonight and I got to hold the little guy. It got me totally pumped and anxious for our little guy/gal to come. Here's a picture of me holding Logan:

Also, we haven't done a belly picture in a while so here you go. As of Wednesday Chrissy will be 31 weeks along.

Finally it's been a while since we have had a picture of me two beautiful dogs. They are so good and well behaved. Chrissy and I are proud parents. Here's a picture of the Duke and Bear:

What a weekend!

Having the bathroom finally done has allowed us to set up the Baby's Room, so the plan was to do that this weekend. But then we got talking and decided that the basement was so close to looking good, that we might as well finish it. So off we went to Totem on Friday night to get everything we were going to need. When we got home, we set up the Baby's room, ok well Bri did and I watched, there was not much I could do, so I was just keeping him company. I had plans to be out for most of the day on Saturday (at a Stampin up thing and a baby shower), which worked out well because of all the painting that was going to be happening. Bri called up Steve and Dad and they came over and helped for the day, what troppers! Thank you so much for your help. We really appreciate it! There was just a few more coats to go today, so Sue and Steve came over to help us finish. Again there wasn't much I was able to do, but I did what I could. The original plan was to just paint the walls, but it would only take a little more work to make the basement look awesome, so in the last 2 days they painted the walls, and all of the baseboards, and all of the doors, and we changed the door knobs (Sue is the Door Knob Queen) and we changed the light fixtures (Sorry about the zap Steve) . AND IT LOOKS AWESOME! Thank you so much G and Steve and Dad and BRIAN!!!!
We are now officially ready for the baby to come! To bad we have to wait another 9 or 10 weeks!
I haven't taken pictures yet, so stay tuned... the pictures will come!

Before and After

One month ago we started the renovations on our bathroom. Ok, we didn't do the renovations, Bruce Coley did. He is finally finished and has done a great job. He moved plumbing, took pipes out, moved walls, and much much more. The bathroom was basically gutted and started from scratch. Here are some before and after pictures...

Hello Betty Lou

Well, it's been almost two weeks now since Chrissy got smucked from behind and wrote off the Sunfire. Chrissy is doing well, her back is just sore. She's been going to the pysiotherapist and this has been helping although she can't take any fancy muscle relaxing drugs due to the pregnancy. The baby is doing fine, Chrissy has had two check ups since and everything seems good.
After we found out that the car was written off we went to Petersen Pontiac (Of course) and we bought a family mobile. Yes, that's right, we bought a minivan. Al gave us a great deal on a used Montana. It's in great shape and even though we haven't been driving it long, it's perfect. Lots of room and very practical. So why the Betty Lou? Well, there is an lady at church who, until just recently, drove the exact same van! So here's to many fun filled years of family trips in the Betty Lou!
