ETYG Halloween Party

The Annual Youth Group Halloween Party was on Friday night, and yet again, it was a success. Bri and I are normally quite involved in all of the prep work and stuff, but with a new baby we asked some friends to help out. Thank you to all of you who stepped up, you know who you are, we really appreciated it! Here are a few pictures from the evening:

One Week Old

Our beautiful little girl is One Week old today. She is already growing up to fast! It has been quite the roller coaster of a week, but we survived. Thank you to all of our friends and family who helped out this past week, you know who you are, and we really appreciated it! Bri goes back to work on Monday, that will be tough, but Abby and I will be able to get into our routine of watching soap operas and the price is right! And hopefully I will update the blog more often, that is the plan anyway.
For now I will leave you with this picture of Abby with her Daddy.

Abby's First Oiler Game

Abby watched her first Oiler game on Saturday Night at Home. We dressed her up in her Oiler gear and she watched as the Oilers beat the Red Wings 3-1. I think we might have the makings of a huge fan, she's even watching the pre-game warmups...

Abigail Anne Gallimore

Well, as most of you all know, Abby has finally arrived. Abigail Anne Gallimore was born at 12:07 a.m. on October 20th, 2006. She was 7 Pounds 13.8 onces and 19 Inches long. She is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. Chrissy is doing well, she is sore but of course that is to be expected. Our first night was a long one but we know that we can do it! I don't want to spend anymore time away from her so I will leave you with some pictures from the first day of her life...

Well I have survived my first week at home. It was weird at first, but I am used to it now, sort of. It will be much better once the baby is here. There isn't to much new to report, the baby is due on Wednesday, but I am not holding my breath that it will happen then. I was at the doctor today and everything is good and closed up, and there are no signs that baby will be coming anytime soon. I haven't felt any contractions or anything, not even braxton hicks. NOTHING! I'll be honest, I was disappointed after my appointment today, I even cried. They scheduled an induction for October 25, I really hope it doesn't get to that, I want this baby to come out on its own, and I want it to come out this week. BUT I know I don't get to make that decision. The baby will come when it is ready, unless October 25th comes first! But I think I am doing well for being 2 days away from 40 weeks pregnant, I can still go and do whatever I want, I just walk a little slower. I even went to Cirque Du Soleil last night (It was awesome).
Anyway, I'll keep you posted, but for now, Gallitown is still just the 4 of us! I'll leave you with 3 pics, the first being a make-shift belly pic I took using the timer tonight, 'cause Bri isn't home. And the second is Bear doing her part to get the baby to come out, I think she is going to miss my tummy, she likes to use it as a pillow! The last picture shows Brian's artistic talent, he didn't want the baby to feel left out when the rest of us were cheering for the Oilers.

I am feeling really weird right now. It is 8:22 on a Tuesday night, and I am at home, while Brian is at band practice. Brian and I are usually always together doing whatever. But we decided that it was time for me to be done with Band for now, I just don't have the air to play anymore, and sitting for an hour at yp band and then an hour and a half at sr. band practice was getting to be to much. It is just so weird, and so lonely. I suppose I should get used to it though, 'cause I am going to be home a lot! I know I will have the baby to keep me company and keep me busy, but I think it just hit me that everything is about to change! This is my last week of work, and as much as nobody really likes working, I am going to miss it, and the people. I am going to miss driving to and from work everyday with Bri, as silly as that sounds, that was an hour a day that we could spend just talking, and I am going to miss that. BUT I am so excited to have this baby, and to be able to be home with the baby and our dogs for a whole year! Anyway, I am just feeling weird right now.

We finished our prenatal classes last night, we are glad they are over. We learnt a little bit, but the videos were just to much for us! But it was great to meet other soon-to-be parents in the community.
Anyway, we haven't posted a picture in a while, so here is a picture of my belly today. We will be 38 weeks tomorrow. So far, nothing to report, but I do have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so I will be sure to keep you all posted.
Oh, and I still have my beautiful Cankles, they just don't want to go away!

Oh, and Happy Birthday to my Mum and to Megan tomorrow! Have a great day!
