That's My Girl!

I am so proud of Abby, she has 14 pairs of shoes! Actually 13 and a half, 1 shoe is missing, I need to chat with the dogs about that. She also got her 2nd tooth today!

We've had Dodger staying with us for the past two nights too, it has been a little crowded on the bed!

And I made a roast beef dinner last night, pretty much from scratch! With some help of course (thanks Lori & Megs). It turned out great, at least that is what they told me, I hope they weren't lying!

My goodness that is a lot of shoes, I don't even own that many. Should be fun when she's a teenager!

I like the ducky ones. I wish I had ducky shoes like that. I would be the coolest girl on campus.

Two different kinds of gravy? Or am I crazy?

Nice to see a pic of Russell and Sue considering they don't have a blog (that I know of). I miss them.

Why do Bri and Russell look like they're at a hockey game and they're celebrating a victory? The dinner must have just been that great!

Chrissy,
I wish Maya had that many shoes. She has a lot for when she is older but only 3 pairs for right now. Jeremy bought 2 more pairs a few days ago but they were a little too big. She will grow into them eventually.
I have come to realize that roast beef is best when it is slow cooked for about 4-5 hours on about 250 degrees. I just learned how to cook it about 2 months ago so don't feel bad...haha.

a girl needs shoes...it's just the way it is. glad to hear she's started on the shoe obsession nice and early.

i've never made roast beef...but then again, the quality of the beef here just doesn't match what you get there.

Making the dinner was the best part of it!

Abby is a girl after my own heart. Just wait until she gets older and Brian wants to throw out all but one pair!

Dale's mom has been collecting shoes for the baby since christmas! There are probably 15 pairs at the door of their house and we still have a few months to go! Some are a bit bigger though...so they'll have to wait.

Abby has a great collection! I wouldn't dare lay all my shoes out at once...Dale might see them and then I'm sure he would have his own ideas about which ones I actually wear, and next time, I wouldn't be able to find them at all!

Great to see you guys are doing well. We HAVE to make a date one of these days Chrissy...

love, kathleen
