Salsa!

What a workout! And it was only the first class!
Abby and I signed up for a Salsa Baby class and the first one was today. It was quite fun, I strapped Abby on and we danced around for about an hour. I was doing great moving my feet, but when we added the arms into it, I got a little messed up, but we still had fun. Angie & Kassidy and Lindsey & Connor are doing it with us too, but Lindsey & Connor couldn't make it today. I am hoping between Salsa and the Wii I can loose the rest of the baby weight, lets keep our fingers crossed!

Sad Day

I had to say goodbye today to a very good friend. Tigger has been sick for quite sometime, and it has gotten worse recently. We decided as a family that it was for the best. We had to put Tigger down. She was 16 years old. She was my cat from the day we got her from the SPCA, she slept with me every night, she was my buddy, I told her everything, she was the best listener I knew! When we got married, we decided it would be best for her to stay with my parents and Dodger.
We are all quite sad, it was the toughest decision I've ever been a part of, but it is for the best, Tiggy just wasn't herself anymore. I was there as she took her last breath and saw her last heartbeat, that was incredibly hard, but I just had to be there with her, I didn't want her to be scared. She went peacefully. And now she is hanging out with Smokey, and I know they are having a good time in Kitty Heaven.

What a Wiikend

We are sore! We have been playing the Wii all weekend. Who would have thought playing a video game could make you sore, but I guess we are not used to bowling, boxing, golfing, playing baseball and tennis!

Here are some pics:

It pays to be persistent...

Abby wanted to get a treat for her daddy because he works so hard for his girls, and she really appreciates that. So everyday this week we have been getting up early to go to walmart to check to see if they have got this special thing in that day, but they hadn't. So this morning we got up really early and went over to the mall to stand outside of the store in the hopes of getting our hands on one of these hot commodities. Let me tell you, there is no one at the mall at 7:45am!

Slowly the mall-walkers were starting to come around, and eventually 2 young boys joined our line. Just the 3 of us... waiting...

The store opened at 9:30, and the nice lady told us she had 3. Perfect, one for each of us. So Abby bought her daddy a Wii

... now we just have to wait for him to get home to show us how to hook it up!

We love you Bri
and we hope you enjoy your treat!

5 Months Old

Miss Abby is 5 months old today, I can't believe how fast time is flying by!
She is 14 lbs 3 oz and 25.5" long. She is growing up so fast.
She started on Rice Cereal this morning, the doctor said between 4 - 6 months, and 5 is right in the middle, so we started today. It actually went really well, she seemed to like it, and ate almost all of it. She made a few funny faces, but managed to keep it all down. woo hoo. A few more days of rice then we will venture on to something else!

A Little confusion...

I guess there was a little confusion about the picture from a few posts ago...
let me clarify:

The one on the left is me, the one on the right is Abby

I was trying to find a picture of Abby that was similar to the one of me, this was the best I could do.

I also have to show you a picture of Abby's new shirt:

Trail Cruiser C17

We finally made a decision and we are VERY excited. Today we went to Guarantee Rv and bought our first trailer. We have been debating for the last month and today we made a decision and bought the beautiful Trail Cruiser C17! Steve and Sue and my Parents also became proud owners of Trailers. Steve and Sue got the C17 as well and Ma and Pa the TC26QBS.

It's going to take about a month for our trailer to come in from the factory but we want to start camping right now!

The C17 is great because it is small enough for our minivan to tow but with the expandable beds it has tons of room inside. It has a Queen & double bed (expandables), a full bathroom with shower/tub, stove & oven, double sink, Stero with AM/Fm Radio & CD player, Full Fridge, dinette, air conditioning and lots of storage. Here are some pictures of the C17 and here's to camping a ton this summer!

What a tease...

For the last 2 months Abby has slept 10-12 hrs at night. Not this week, she has decided that she now needs to get up in the night. 2 days ago, it was 1:30 and 6:00. Last night it was 11:30 & 5:00 & then 8:00. urgh. I am used to lots of sleep. Needless to say, I am tired, and we've got a full day planned today. I am such a whiner!
