Yay... the computer is back!

So our computer died and took with it all of our pictures from the last year. We were pretty upset, but nothing could be done to get them back. Lesson learned ... BACK UP YOUR PICTURES!!!! At least we have the blog and all of the pictures on it. Anyway we got the computer back today with a new hard drive in it, so we are back in the blogging world.

We went to The Lingnan for Brian's Birthday. It is the restaurant featured on the show "Family Restaurant" this season on the food network. (You should watch the show on Thursday nights, it is pretty funny). The food was Awesome. And the owner, Amy, knows Brian from her food court restaurant "Chicken for Lunch" downtown, so she came over to say hello. Amy is amazing, she remembers everyone by name ( a name she gives them, Brian is "Brother") and remembers their order, even if they haven't been there for months! Brian introduced me, so I am now "wife". She even gave Bri a present for his birthday, a little gold budda! Anyway, the food was awesome, it was a great night.

Here are a few pics from last night and the last 2 weeks:

Getting ready to eat AlphaGetti (that is why she has no shirt on)

This is what happens when Zach pukes during tummy time. (I know, bad mom for taking a picture, but he wasn't upset so I figured it was ok)

What A Weekend!

We had an awesome weekend. I can't explain how perfect it was. On Saturday morning Chrissy, Zach, Steve, Sue and I headed off to Saskatoon Saskatchewan (Abby and Ally stayed with Grandma and Grandad back in Sherwood Park). We went to Saskatoon to watch my little cousin (although he's bigger then me now) Burke play hockey. Burke plays for the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL and is having a pretty good year so we thought we'd go and catch a game. When we got to Saskatoon we checked into the hotel that Dad had booked for us (Thanks Pa!) and relaxed before diner. Our bed had a beautiful white bedspread so Chrissy wanted to do a photo-shoot with Zach. He smiled for a few which was nice. Here's some pictures of the photo-shoot:

Then went for out for dinner to Fuddruckers. Remember that place? I loved it when we had them in Edmonton and Calgary. I think I liked the part of making up a name for them to call your order. Last night I was Frank and Steve was Cliff. My burger was delicious! We then headed off to the game. Well, I think we picked the perfect game to go to. The Blades won 10-1 and Burke had his best game of the year. He had a goal and 4 assists for 5 points and was plus 6 on the night. Burke was the first star on the night and had to sign autographs after the game for all the kids. Then went to BP's after the game with my Cousin Courtney (Burke's Sister) and my Auntie Lynn (Burke's Mom). We left Saskatoon after a great night's sleep (Zach slept for 10 hours straight) and were back in the Park at 3:30 after a brutal drive back. Here are some pictures from the game:

I can't believe I waited in line to get Burke's Autograph

I love how giddy Chrissy looks in this picture
