8 Months

The little man will be 8 months old tomorrow. He has changed a lot this past month, he is now eating finger food and usually finishes up Abby's leftovers (I knew this would happen eventually, I just wasn't expecting it this quickly). He is also "Skootching" everywhere, not quite up on his hands and knees yet, but he is moving everywhere. He now has 7 teeth (4 on top and 3 on bottom). I also weighed both kids today, Zach is 20lbs 14oz and 28.5", Abby was 31.6lbs with her clothes and shoes on, and exactly 3 ft tall. Man they grow up so quickly.
Zachy also loves going for wagon rides now, I can't believe he is big enough to sit in the wagon! (Abby was more interested in her bubbles than smiling for the camera)

Not much else is new in Gallitown, we are just getting ready for our holiday, 12 sleeps till PENTICTON!!! I am so excited!

Another Adventure

Yesterday I took the kids downtown to have lunch with Bri. We do this quite often, but this time I decided to make it an adventure. We took the bus from Sherwood Park to the University, then took the LRT downtown, met Bri, had lunch, and then took a bus back to SP. I figured Abby would enjoy it, but I underestimated just how much. She LOVED it. She was so excited on the first bus, she talked the whole way, seriously, she did not stop. It was adorable, and the excitement on her face made the whole trip worth it. The train was fun because we got to go across the river on a bridge (another one of Abby's favorite things). It was a great Adventure. Here are the pics...

A trip to the Zoo...

I took the kids to the zoo this morning. The Edmonton Zoo isn't that big, but it is perfect for a 2 year old. Abby LOVED it and of course, she didn't want to leave. Zachy had fun too, I think he just liked watching all of the kids running around.

Here are some pics from our adventure:

This python had just eaten a rabbit, luckily we didn't see it, but you can see the bulge.

Abby took this picture. She didn't want to have her picture taken, but was happy to take the pictures.

Great Day

Another awesome day. The weather was great again, the Tornados beat the first place team in the division 3-2 in overtime and we had a fantastic family BBQ out at Auntie Lynn and Uncle John's place. We were celebrating Grandad's 86th birthday and fathers day all in one. Zachy got drunk, Abby had her first marshmallow, Chrissy lounged in the hot tub and I ate enough bbq'd beef brisket to feed an army. Here are some pictures from the bbq...

Not Easy

I just want to say it's not easy. I know Chrissy works hard everyday but now I know how hard. Chrissy is at work today doing some training on a new system and I took the day off to look after the kids. My first instinct was that I was going to rock it. Mow the lawn, do the dishes, laundry, clean, cook, vacuum. Easy right? hahaha Not a chance. I did mow the lawn, not easy with two kids. Then I took them to superstore to pick up a few things, not easy with two kids. After I got lunch into Abby and Zach (which was frustrating with one kid crying and the other whining) I put them to bed. Now time to relax for 3 hours and watch soaps. NOT! I sat for a bit cause I was tired and then Zach started to cry. He's only been down an hour. Check on Abby, wide awake with glow-worm taken all apart. Right now Abs is in bed, probably still awake and Zach is in a swing fighting not going to sleep and me? I am tired. Only a half day so far and I feel beat. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I thought I'd have more stamina then this. I couldn't do this everyday. I don't think I have the patience or drive to do it. So, all in all, Chrissy, you do an awesome job and I knew it before and I know it even more now, you don't have it easy and I thank God everyday I have you to take care of me and the kids!

I can't post without putting a few pictures up so here are couple of my pups. They are good dogs that don't get the attention they deserve. Love you guys!
