Sleepless in Seattle

On Friday night Chrissy, Steve, Sue and I flew into Vancouver and spent the night at Mum and Dad Venables place. We got to spend a few hours with them that was fun (Nothing better then walking in to wings cooking on the oven!!!)

We left the kids, yes all 3, behind with Ma and Pa Gallimore. Thanks so much for watching my kids so we could have a fun and relaxing weekend. It was awesome!!!

On Saturday we got up and drove to Seattle to go watch a Seattle Thunderbirds game (Stopping at every outlet mall on the way). Burke was traded to Seattle on Jan. 8th.

On Sunday we got up and went to the Seattle Space Needle and then to Pike Place Market.

On the way back to Vancouver we stopped at Moby Dicks Restaurant in Whiterock, BC for dinner right on the ocean.

We then went back to Mum's for triffle and cupcakes for my birthday before we flew home late Sunday evening.

It was the perfect birthday weekend!

The view from Mum and Dad's house. So beautiful (I'm talking about the view of the driving range at the bottom of the hill open year round!)

Showing off the signs we made for the game

I have to admit, I was a little giddy for the start of the game

It's cool to see the Gallimore name on the back of the jersey. Very Proud!

Battling for the puck during the game

It was Teddy Bear toss night and after the first goal was scored by the T-Birds roughly 4500 teddy bears were thrown on the ice. We stopped at Target on the way to the game to get our bears to throw!

I like this picture, you can just see Chrissy's head at the very bottom...

It only took us 20+ years but we finally get along...most of the time

This was a cool bulldog at Pike Place Market

On Sunday I was down in the toddler room and I found a box of old FUEL gear and put a bandanna and dog tags on Zach. He wore them almost all day without trying to take them off. I think he liked being Zachy the Pirate

Haircuts & Snowman

The kids went for haircuts tonight, Abby's 3rd and Zachy's 1st. They both did great, and now Zachy can actually see without hair in his eyes. And he still has his curls! Abby just got a trim, but got some sparkles in her hair at the end and a purple lollipop, it doesn't get much better than that!

We also took the kids out yesterday to build a snowman. It is finally warming up enough that we can play outside, and the kids loved it. It warmed up so much today though that by the time we got home, the snowman's head fell off. Oh well :)

Random Pictures

Some sweet hair after an intense nap

Gallitown is ready for the Olympics. We're getting pumped to cheer Canada on!

After we took the family picture Abby wanted to take some pictures of us. She told, and showed us, what poses we were to do. This is a sexy pose for Chrissy...

and this is a studly pose for Daddy.

Abby was drawing on her easel yesterday and told us she had drawn a lion. We were very impressed with her drawing. Very proud. She must have some artistic genes in her
