The LPGA followed by the Main Event

On Sunday I got to go watch my first Professional golf tournament.  It was everything I imagined it would be and more!  It didn't hurt that I got to spend the day in a skybox sponsored by the Guarantee Company (Thanks Pa!!!).
I went with Ma, Pa and Steve and we spent the day watching the best women's golfers on the planet and they didn't disappoint.  I had such an amazing time!

This is my buddy Brad's favourite LPGA Pro (For obvious reasons) Sandra Gal from Germany
A long time favourite Christie Kerr
Chrissy and my current favourite player Paula Creamer
 Beautiful and a great golfer
She was also extremely good to the fans.  She impressed me a couple of times. The first when she was the only player to shake the hands of the Canadian Military men handling the flag on the 9th hole and the second when she spotted a little girl dressed in pink, signed a ball and gave it to her telling her she loved her pink outfit.
The current leader and eventual winner coming onto the 9th green, Lydia Ko (Only 16 years old)
Her short birdie putt on 9 (which she missed)
Creamer on 12 checking out her fuzzy lie
Preparing to hit (She ended up birdieing this hole)
Getting my flag signed by Paula Creamer after her round.
My signed Paula Creamer Flag. Will be framed and put up on the wall shortly.

Again, I want to say how impressed I was with all the players and the time they took to talk with, take pictures with and sign things for the fans

After the golf we headed over to Uncle John and Auntie Lynn's place for the Main Event.  A huge BBQ'd Prime Rib and the company of the Gallimore family.  We had a great evening and it was extra special spending some time with our new niece Annabelle Marie Goretzki, my Cousin Courtney's 4 week only baby girl

Elk Island Park

On Sunday afternoon we met Mike & Megan and baby Aubrey at Elk Island Park for a walk, picnic and playing in the park.  It was the first time I have ever been to Elk Island Park.  It was beautiful.  We even came across a huge herd of bison.

What a good looking baby!!!

A little while ago, just before Aiden was born, my cousin Jen was going through some of my Grandad's old photo albums and came across some old pics of me as a little one.  Thought I'd share.  I got goose bumps and a lump in my throat seeing pictures of my Granny and Grandad holding me.
I am pretty sure we had virtually the exact same chair for Abby and Zach
I look like a red Smurf
 sweet crib
 Man I was cute
I sure do miss this man!
Ok...this is VERY UNSAFE! Mom is going to be in so much trouble the next time I see her. Geez Mom, what if I rolled off? hahahaha
